How to Buy and Find Your Transport Tickets on Your Phone and Use Them at Terminals?

You can buy and store transport tickets on your phone to use it for validation at terminals in stations, at your entry in buses. Follow the procedures below according to your phone type: 

On Android: 

Buying and Finding Tickets: 

To buy a transport ticket via the Paris 2024 Public Transport app: 

  • Open the app and go to the "Purchase" tab. 
  • Select the "On my phone" option to store your tickets directly on your smartphone and validate them with it. 
  • Choose the desired transport ticket. 
  • Set the necessary options such as dates, zones, and quantity. 
  • Confirm your choice and proceed with payment. 

The tickets will be stored on your phone, and you can check the remaining number of tickets within the IDFM app. 

Note: On some phones, you may need to install the "Mes Tickets Navigo" or "Ticket sans contact" app to use this service. 

You can choose from various transport tickets: t+ tickets and booklets, airport tickets, and event tickets (Paris 2024). 

Important Notes: 

  • It is not possible to store Origine-Destination tickets on your phone. 
  • The service is available on phones running Android 8 or later. 
  • Payment can be made via credit card or Samsung Pay. 

Using Stored Tickets on Phone: 

To validate your ticket, there is no need to open the app, unlock your screen, or even check your battery. Simply hold your Android phone close to the validator to validate it. 

On iOS: 

Buying and Finding Tickets: 

To buy a transport ticket via the Paris 2024 Public Transport app for your iPhone or Apple Watch: 

  • Open the app and go to the "Purchase" tab. 
  • Select the "On my iPhone" or "On my Apple Watch" option to store your tickets directly on your device and validate them with it. 
  • Choose the desired transport ticket. 
  • Set the necessary options such as dates, zones, and quantity. 
  • Add it to the Apple Wallet app (only during the first use of the service). 
  • Confirm your choice and proceed with payment. 

The tickets will be stored on your phone, and you can check the remaining number of tickets within the IDFM app. 

To buy a transport ticket via the "Apple Wallet" app: 

  • Open the Apple Wallet app. 
  • Click on the Transport card section. 
  • Select Navigo. 
  • Choose your transport ticket. 
  • Pay directly with Apple Pay. 

You can start traveling. 

Note: You can add as many cards as you want within the "Wallet" app, allowing you to store transport cards for multiple people on one phone (each person traveling with you must have a dedicated card). 

You can choose from various transport tickets: t+ tickets and booklets, airport tickets, and event tickets (Paris 2024). 

In the Apple Wallet app, you can find the following: t+ ticket booklets (full and reduced fare) and single t+ tickets, airport tickets, and the Paris 2024 Pass. 

Important Notes: 

  • It is not possible to store Origine-Destination tickets on your phone. 
  • The service is available on phones running iOS 17.5 or later. 
  • Payment can be made via credit card or Apple Pay. 

Using Stored Tickets on Phone: 

To validate your ticket, there is no need to open the app, unlock your screen, or even check your battery. Simply hold your iPhone or Apple Watch close to the validator to validate it.
