How do I validate with my Android smartphone or my Samsung Galaxy Watch?
If you have a valid ticket or pass on your smartphone or Samsung Galaxy Watch, you can travel on the entire Île-de-France transport network, depending on the dates and zones selected at the time of purchase.
To enter the transport network, you need to validate your ticket or pass at the gate or validator.
To validate your ticket, make sure you have:
- NFC enabled;
- On your phone, you need to have the screen on, or even unlocked. It is usually not necessary to have the application opened;
- Hold the back of your smartphone or the screen of your connected watch over the contactless reader target on the validator. The NFC antenna for contactless communication with the validator is usually located on the back of the phone.
If your tickets are stored in the add-on application My Navigo Tickets and your phone has been disconnect for several days, validation may fail. In this case, open your transport application and display your tickets: the application will alert you if reconnection to the service is required and will allow you to carry it out.
Your phone's case may interfere with validation. If this is the case, you may need to remove your phone from its case before validating.
