Paris 2024: meet the Île-de-France Mobilités team of athletes
There are five of them. Three women, two men, all locals and all public transport users.
Sébastien Viguier, Nantenin Keïta, Laurent Cadot, Anne-Cécile Ciofani and Axelle Étienne compete at the highest level in sports related to mobility and collective spirit: track cycling, BMX racing, para-athletics, para-rowing, and rugby sevens.
Whether Olympic or Paralympic, they share the spirit of camaraderie, self-improvement, and a passion for sport deeply rooted in the Île-de-France region.
Why does Île-de-France Mobilités have its own team of athletes for Paris 2024?
For Île-de-France Mobilités, having “our” team means:
- Supporting athletes throughout their preparation.

Sébastien Vigier, 26 years old

What is your sport?
Track cycling and sprint cycling.
What is your track record?
I have been French Champion three times and European Speed Champion twice. I won a bronze medal in team speed event at the Tokyo Olympic Games in 2020.
You are from the region, where do you train in Île-de-France?
I am part of US Créteil in Val-de-Marne (94). I am studying electrical engineering and industrial computing alongside my sporting career!
Nantenin Keïta, 39 years old

What is your sport?
Para athletics.
What is your track record?
I earned a bronze medal at the London Games in 2012 and proudly held the title of Paralympic Champion in the 400m at the Rio Games in 2016. Beyond my sporting achievements, I serve as an ambassador for people with albinism. Additionally, I contribute to the human resources teams at Malakoff Médéric, a health insurance company. My mission is to promote the integration of individuals with disabilities and support their career development.
You are from the region, where do you train in Île-de-France?
I train at the Avia Club, on the banks of the Seine at Issy-les-Moulineaux in Hauts-de-Seine (92).
Laurent Cadot, 40 years old

What is your sport?
Rowing.
What is your track record?
I competed in two Olympic Games as an able-bodied athlete before competing in the para competition after a nosocomial infection. In 2022, I was European Para-rowing Vice-Champion and World Champion in 2X PR3.
You are from the region, where do you train in Île-de-France?
I train at the Boulogne Billancourt nautical club in Hauts-de-Seine (92).
Anne-Cécile Ciofani, 30 years old

What is your sport?
Rugby sevens.
What is your track record?
I won the silver medal at the Tokyo Games in 2020 as well as the title of best player in the competition. In 2021, I was also elected as the Best Rugby Sevens Player in World Rugby.
You are from the region, where do you train in Île-de-France?
I play for Stade Français, in Paris.
Axelle Étienne, 25 years old

BMX - Race.
What is your track record?
I have been French champion three times; I won the bronze medal at the World Championships in 2019 and took 7th place at the Tokyo Games in 2020.
You are from the region, where do you train in Île-de-France?
I train in the Yvelines department at the Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines Vélodrome.
