Free ticket for young people in training

• The Avenir Jeunes, Programme Compétences and Ecole de la deuxième chance training organisations automatically offer free transport to their eligible trainees under 26 years of age. Solidarité Transport oversees granting free rights. They register requests as soon as the trainee's training registration is completed and validated by the training organisation.
• Trainees receive a personalized letter from their training organisation with an identifier and a personal access key to connect to www.transports-jeunes-insertion.fr, as well as the instructions to follow for the first allocation of the Free Young people in integration ticket.
•  The trainee must confirm their Navigo customer number, accept the general conditions and validate their registration on the website. Once these steps have been completed, the application is processed by Solidarité Transport and they, and the training organisation if applicable, will confirm to the trainee that free transport has been granted.

The first free allocation covers:

• the current month until its end, if free transport has been granted between the 1st and 15th of the month, or if the internship ends in the current month;
• the current month and the following month if free transport has been granted between the 15th and 31st of the month, provided that the internship does not end during the current month.

The free ticket must then be loaded on the Navigo card every month at any ticket office or ticket machine at RATP or SNCF stations.

The renewal of the free ticket corresponds to one month of free travel for the month following the month free transport has been granted. This happens between the 20th and 25th of each month, as long as the month of the internship end date is later than the month of the renewal date.

Trainees who do not have a Navigo Travel Card can obtain one free of charge: 

• straight away at a RATP or SNCF Transilien ticket office. You will need to present proof of identity and proof of address;
• within a maximum of three weeks, by ordering it online in the “manage my Navigo card” account, or by sending the application form available at RATP and Transilien SNCF ticket offices to the Navigo agency.
