Special school routes

Ile-de-France Mobilités (formerly STIF) is responsible for the organisation, operation and financing of school transport services on special school routes. These are set up when there are no regular routes (bus or train) for students under the age of 21 to get from their home to their school. These services are mostly delegated to local authorities who are the point of contact for families. Please note: the use of a special school route (CSS) requires the purchase of a specific transport ticket: the SCOL'R card.

Essonne

This service is organised by Ile-de-France Mobilités (formerly STIF) in partnership with nearly 60 local organisers (OL) from Essonne (municipalities, private schools, etc.).

Val d’Oise

This service is organised by Ile-de-France Mobilités (formerly STIF) in partnership with more than 30 local organisers (OL) from Val d´Oise municipalities.

Yvelines

This service is organised by Ile-de-France Mobilités (formerly STIF) in partnership with more than 40 local organisers (OL) from Yvelines municipalities.

Seine-et-Marne

This service is organised by the department by delegation from Ile-de-France Mobilités. You can register online by clicking on the link in the registration for special school routes section or by downloading your registration form for the service on the Department's internet portal:

If special school service is not available for your child's journey

If the special school service (Scol'R card) is not available for trips from your home to your child's school, this is because a regular route serves their school. To travel on it, your child must have a different ticket, not the Scol'R card.
